SUBMIT YOUR EVENT!! IT'S FREE!! Please read below before you submit your event.
Basic Information Needed About Your Event TIPS TO HELP YOU
Your event submission should contain all relevant information. Please note submitting your flyer or press release will NOT get your event posted on our calender. Sorry we can’t submit your event request for you. Unfortunately, our staff is limited; therefore you must complete the submission event form located at end of this page. Your event will normally be uploaded within 24-48 hours of submission if the form is correctly submitted. Please do not use all CAPS – we can re-type your event for you. Below are some useful tips to ensure your event is posted promptly.
Please make sure that you include the following information when submitting your event:
Date: Sunday, August 31, 2009. Make sure your day and date is correct.
Time: (Example: 10a-5p or starting at 9p - until or 7p, or TBA-To Be Announced)
Where: Complete location address of where your event will be held (example: 7801 North Lamar Blvd Ste. B-148, Austin, Texas 78752). You may also want to include a map link – which must be submitted in a web link only.
Website: (Example: http://www.mitchie.com). All web file linked at NO CHARGE!! JPG files, flyers, applications etc., can be attached at a fee of only $14.99 per file. If you should like to purchase an ad for your event click here.
Point of contact: Include your name, e-mail address and telephone. This information is helpful in case the reader needs to obtain additional information. (Example: For more information contact Hannah Hooks by phone at 512.323.6901 or by e-mail at hannahhooks@mitchie.com Example only – do not e-mail to this no-reply address. EXAMPLE ONLY!!)
Cost: Is there a charge to attend your event? Include the cost – advance rate, at the door rates and if group rates are available.
Description: Give as much information about your event as possible with writing an essay. Make it interesting and right to the point. "Write it good, they will come." Please do not submit in upper case text only; this will delay for submission. Anything more that twenty lines people are known not to read or give it their full attention. Please make sure you include where, when and what time your event will take place. “Keep it short, sweet and to the point.” ....and PLEASE check your grammar.
Appropriate Spelling and Grammar: Please write in complete sentences and spell check your event posting to avoid spelling and grammatical errors. We make every effort to check for spelling and grammar, unfortunately due to the volume of submissions we receive daily, we cannot catch all errors.
